We tried the coconut and pistachio tiramisu at CASA ASTI, and both flavors were wonderful. Christina served it from a glass bowl onto a beautifully decorated plate, and the homemade dessert really was an edible work of art. We’ve never had better tiramisu. Thanks for such a delicious treat.

We stayed for eight days in April and May. Our room, the Frans Suite, was clean and spacious, but there were no chairs at all, no table, mini fridge, or TV. If you made tea, you had to sit on the bed with the cup in your lap. The room was on the fourth floor, up 16 short flights of stairs, and there’s no lift. The bigger issue was the noise. Music from the connected cafe downstairs played endlessly from about 9:30 am to 5 pm, and sometimes there was live music in the evening. A nearby construction site also brought weekday noise starting at 7 am. There’s no breakfast, but when the cafe is open you can get free coffee and water. The staff were helpful when present. It was fine for a few days, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Asti in March. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff were so courteous and helpful. It’s a quirky, lovely hotel in a perfect location. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Valletta.

The staff were amazing, and Kurt Bundy went well beyond what was needed to get back the diamond earrings I’d carelessly left in my room. He handled the shipping red tape, including many trips and emails between DHL and me. I can’t say enough good things about him or Casa Asti. It was an amazing hotel, in a wonderful location.

We had a brilliant three-day mother and daughter trip for my daughter’s 17th birthday. The location was perfect for shopping, sightseeing, and finding good food. There’s a great pizza restaurant a few streets away and a bagel place around the corner. It’s also not far from the airport. We felt safe there as two women traveling alone. The place is really nice, clean throughout, and the rooms are well equipped with a traditional Maltese feel. What really made our stay was the staff. Matthias, Caribel, Noushad, and Marilyn were lovely and went above and beyond. A special mention to Matthias, who helped us adjust our plans when thunderstorms were forecast for my daughter’s birthday. They decorated the room and came in singing happy birthday with a cake, which we really appreciated. We made some lovely memories in Malta and would definitely stay again. X
