The view is the real standout. Sitting by the window and watching the harbour, with cruise ships, yachts, and ferries moving through the scene, is a delight both day and night. There's so much history and interest to look at, and it's world class and beautiful. The hotel is nice in its own right too, with comfy beds, a quiet atmosphere, and staff who are friendly on the whole.

We loved our room, with its two Maltese balconies looking out over the Grand Harbour. This is a small, friendly hotel in a superb location, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was great, with both hot and cold options.

The receptionist arranged our taxi back to the airport for 22 euros. We’d arrived at 12:30 for a 15:00 check-in, and they checked straight away whether our room was ready. It was, which made a lovely start to our four-night stay. We’d happily come back and recommend the place.

The location is the hotel's main selling point. The rooms are small, with no balconies or refrigerators, and there isn’t even ice available to keep drinks or perishables cool. There are no shared spaces either.

Shaun at reception was incredibly friendly and helped us work out what to do with just one day in Valetta. We also had a lovely rooftop view, and our room was spacious and very clean. The location was great too. Breakfast was the one letdown: it was okay, though it could have been much better.
