I stayed in a clean, pleasant room in a private house, furnished in a vintage style. There’s a small kitchenette with water and a few other drinks, set up for self-service. The centre and citadele are within walking distance. No real issues, though the street-facing window could be better soundproofed and the shower needs a curtain.
Maria was always around, lovely to talk to, and very friendly and welcoming. The service was very good. The room and location both lose a star for facing a rather busy, sometimes noisy street, which interrupted my sleep on many nights. It’s still within walking distance of amenities. If I come back to Gozo alone, I’d happily book here again, but I’d ask for a room at the back of the house. Thanks to Maria & Emanuele for letting me stay in their home.
There's a stunning view at night. The house and room were lovely, just like the pictures, and a nice example of what those tiny houses you pass might look like inside. It's in a quiet area, within walking distance of the citadel and close to Victoria bus station.
Breakfast can be had in the kitchen, and the hosts are courteous, friendly, and helpful. They respond to questions really quickly. The house is quiet and close to central Victoria. We'd happily stay here again!
A pleasant stay in an authentic stone house. From room 2, there’s a beautiful view of Citadella, and you can see fireworks during feast time.
