The rooms and bathroom were spacious and very clean compared with the five-star hotels we’ve stayed in. The entrance, kitchen, and dining area were beautifully designed, too. We checked in Friday and left Monday, using a rental car to explore Port Louis and Chamarel. The location worked very well: Port Louis was a 25-30 minute drive and Chamarel took 45 minutes to an hour. There were lovely cafes and restaurants nearby, and we felt safe and relaxed with easy access to places around the island. I want to thank the owners for making everything so good. We’re thinking of staying here again if we return, and we’ve already recommended it to friends.

The host and property are absolutely lovely. It’s a great base for seeing the real Mauritius, with the local metro an easy walk away. Beaches aren’t as convenient from here.
