Although the kitchenette was tidy, the fridge still had ice cream from a previous guest, and the place lacked a kettle, bottle opener and scissors. When we asked for a kettle, the one they brought was dirty, with odd white milky and black stuff inside. We bought detergent since none was supplied, but housekeeping took ours on the last day and replaced it with theirs. There was a washing machine, but no laundry powder. We got only two toilet rolls for the whole week and they weren't replenished, and our towels weren't changed either. The second daily housekeeping visit only emptied bins and made beds. Wifi worked, but slowly. Staff said we could call them from their landline, but it didn't work. The people we met were friendly and flexible when we asked for a late checkout. Still, getting the keys took a while because we couldn't find the place, with no sign or reception, and had to call. At checkout, we waited more than an hour for someone to collect them, which isn't convenient for tourists. Each apartment's toilet window faces the shared corridor, and the building has no windows, so the inside smelled mouldy. You could smell other people's toilets walking to your door. The shower and vanity drained very slowly, and on our last day there was no water, so we used bottled water to wash and flush the toilet.

The only good thing was being close to Flic en Flac beach, about a five-minute walk. The stay itself was a nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The room was very dirty and didn't look like the photos. We found lots of ants and, at night, horrible cockroaches everywhere. The apartments are inside a condominium with no reception or staff contact person. A girl handed us the keys at check-in, then we saw nobody for the rest of the stay. The room phone for local calls didn't work, so we had to buy a local card to ask for help. On the first evening there was no hot water; the next morning no water came from the tap, and nobody answered the phone for two hours while we waited in the room all morning for someone to check it.

Handy place to stay, close to the beach, tour operators, a supermarket and drugstores.

It's okay, though it isn't very modern.
