Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa

The service really lifted our stay. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, especially Shabnam at Blue Bay Bar and Disha and Artee at the Spa. They were all wonderful. Our room’s bathroom felt ready for a refresh, and the air conditioning was noisy enough that the units could use an upgrade. Aside from that, we had a lovely time at Shandrani Beachcomber. The hotel is beautiful, with several lovely pool areas and fantastic beaches. The food was consistently good, and the seafood experience dinner was a highlight. The setting and layout make it feel special, with what seemed like a sea view from nearly every room. We’d happily return.

This was our second visit, and we enjoyed it all over again. The staff are so friendly and do everything they can to make guests comfortable. The hotel has had some renovations recently, mostly around the restaurants and bars, though some rooms could still use a refresh. I’d also have liked more seats in the bar for the evening entertainment. The location is lovely, looking out over blue bay and the wild beach. There are great facilities on site, and although it’s close to the airport, the planes taking off and landing didn’t disturb our stay. We’d come back again, and I highly recommend it.

The boat house kept our now-teenage kids busy every day, learning to water ski, windsurf, and sail. The friendly, fun team were always supportive and welcoming. Bertie, Vincent, Oliver, Jacques, and everyone else deserve the highest praise. Having water skiing included is a real draw, and the Friday evening boat club drinks are a lovely touch. We’ve visited three times in seven years and loved it every time.

Ashven(bar) and Sebastian were my favourites at shandrani, and deserve a special mention. Seb works with the watersports team and knows so much about the water, so ask him anything! I’m so grateful for the hospitality our family received. These are the wonderful people who made us feel at home and gave us such good service throughout the week: Ashven(bar), Sebastian, Christophe, Krish, Kevin, Alberto, Bruno, Ananastia, Shounam, Vishnu, Bageera, and Abhay. They made our holiday extra special, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you.
