The room was very large and spacious, with lots of kitchen utensils, air conditioning and a fan. There were no spices or oil, so plan to buy those at the supermarket. The water pressure was crazy, and there was really hot water at any time. They cleaned every day and changed the towels daily, even though we told them they didn’t need to. It’s in a good, safe neighbourhood, right across from a police station, and close to many central places if you have a car. The rooms were very clean. Highly recommended.

The host was really warm, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. The place was as pictured and very clean. Worth every penny.

We stayed for a couple of days and would definitely recommend this spot for the south or southwest of Mauritius. Chamarel and Le Morne are close by, and Mr. Shan was friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, and there’s free parking for 3-4 cars on the property. Wifi, AC, and TV are available. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook almost anything. Toilets and bathrooms are clean and spacious, with hot water.

Mr. Schan was a superstar throughout our 10 night stay. He always replied quickly and connected us with a local car rental company, which was great. When the kitchen tap had an issue, it was replaced with a new one within a day. Room cleaning was provided every day except holidays. Great value and a great experience, highly recommend!

We spent 3 night here while moving around the island and had nothing bad to say about the accommodation. It’s very spacious, with local restaurants and a supermarket an easy walk away. A car would be useful if you want to go beyond La Gaulette. A great place to stay on the west coast, thanks for a lovely stay.
