Sea-lily Beach Villa

The pool was clean and I had no water issues during my two weeks at house number 6. The rooms were tidy, clean, and well organized, with pretty much all the appliances I needed. The house looked great, and its owner said he had bought and renovated it recently. The owner was kind, answered our questions, and helped with requests. He never showed up without warning or treated us badly. We also had no trouble with noise during our stay. I'd read the other Google reviews, but my experience didn't match them at all. The new owner has done a great job renewing the place. I loved my visit and will definitely come back.

The house was nicely furnished and had the equipment we needed. It was also well located, close to the beach and shops. I was extremely happy with my stay at the resort, especially house number 6, which I chose after reading another review here. When I arrived, the owner showed me around and explained where things were, along with tips about shopping, swimming, and what to look out for. He then went grocery shopping with my friend and me and helped us carry everything back. The whole experience with him was relaxed and pleasant, and I'm very thankful he made the stay easier for us.

We left the villa a day before our booking ended and got no refund. It was a horrible waste of money, especially over the New Year holidays. The building wasn't clean or maintained, and customer care seemed nonexistent. The hosts might appear at any time, and guests are expected to follow their wishes. Children weren't allowed to make even the slightest noise in the pool, as though everyone had to be in deep meditation. The hosts used vulgar words like 'mauricien sauvage'. That was the final straw, and we had to leave the compound immediately. Anyone thinking of booking this hostile villa should be careful.

The pool was dirty, and the rooms felt very old and badly in need of renovation. We also had a serious water problem and had to call a water truck to distribute water. The owners didn't take our problems into consideration, got annoyed when we made noise, and were rude and unmannered. It wasn't a place where we could enjoy a family stay, especially with kids. This isn't a villa, it's a villain.
