We came with family and friends to get away from our hectic lives and found peace and quiet here. We had five marvelous days. Sonia and Patrice were wonderful hosts, always ready to help and attentive to what we needed. The food, service, surroundings and value for money all exceeded our expectations.

We felt right at home, and Sonja and her husband made the stay special. The rooms are amazing, and we’d gladly recommend their accommodation. Their lodge is well placed for the island’s spectacular beaches, as well as caving, zip lining and abseiling.

We asked for vegetarian dinners and were very happy with them. The dinners were excellent. Le Benitier sits right by the beach in Grand Baie, a village at the foot of a valley, and its lovely, well-kept garden makes for a peaceful setting.

The hosts are brilliant and nothing seems too much trouble. The food is fantastic, and it’s a stunning place to stay. We’ll be back soon 😎

A few metres off the main road, the place is tucked along a quiet lane, about eight minutes from Port Mathurin and very close to anse aux Anglais. This was my second trip to Rodrigues, and I’ve found my place for future visits. Sonia and Patrice are amazing hosts who help with anything you need and added so much to the trip with their personal touch. Sonia even spent a whole day showing us around. And Patrice is one of the best home cooks in the world in my eyes, his typical Rodrigues food is magic. I’m definitely coming back for a longer holiday and more of that hospitality. Miss you guys xx
