My wife and I stayed at Le Macouas from 20.4.2022 to 27.04.2022 and enjoyed it. Mrs Guilmette was charming and served lovely food tailored to our tastes. The location was peaceful. Recommended to travellers.

We felt at home straight away at Guilmette's. She welcomed us warmly and was professional and good-humoured. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean, and Guilmette's meals were delicious. Fumier and Pointe Coton, two magnificent beaches, are very close to the guesthouse. The chats with Guilmette and Britney turned out to be fascinating. Our stay was much too short, but it was a wonderful, authentic and unforgettable way to discover the beautiful island of Rodrigues.

We spent 12 wonderful days here in November 2022 and would love to come back. Mrs. Guilmette's guesthouse is a great choice for a Rodrigues Island holiday. Every room has its own bathroom, and the delicious Creole cooking was a highlight. A deserted sandy beach is just a short walk away, and the public bus stops right outside. The local roads have very little traffic, and Mrs. Guilmette can arrange a scooter rental.

The bus stops right outside, and the island's most beautiful beaches are nearby. The guesthouse is an ideal choice for our family of five, and we're already longing to return. Guilmette's warm welcome, good humour and delicious local meals made the stay a real treat. The rooms are spacious and simply furnished, with a no-frills style that suits life in Rodrigues perfectly. We only wish the holiday hadn't ended!
