This morning, before our boat trip, we bought some really bad coffee for Rs300. When we got back just now, we politely asked if our six-year-old girl could use the toilet, and they refused very rudely. Come on, we could have bought more bad coffee if they needed us to pay to use the toilet. No need to hide behind reception 😂 la grosse dame la (the only way we can identify her), think again. She’s a child and just needed the bathroom.

The service here was very poor, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a holiday. We found worms in the breakfast 🤢. The manager, Marie Claude, didn’t care about clients’ requests and was very unprofessional.

The staff, including M.Robinson, were friendly, and the food was really delicious. The view is breathtaking, and we had a great time overall. Still, some renovation is needed. Water leaks from the AC onto the balcony, pest control is a must, and the pool was really dirty with lots of insects.

The auberge has an amazing view, and the food is super delicious. Our room was clean, with housekeeping coming every day to clean it. The staff were friendly and welcomed us with a refreshment. Breakfast and dinner are included, and the stay is worth it 💯

The hosts were kind and helpful, always checking that we were comfortable. Dinner brought different kinds of local food each night, all really good, and breakfast had eggs, toast, and other local treats. Rooms have air conditioning and a TV, and the place is close to the beach, with amazing sunsets every day. It’s an affordable place to stay, about 20 minutes from port mathurin and 10 minutes from la ferme. The pool could be better, but you can swim right in the ocean. I’ll definitely go back!
