Fiyala Homestay

It felt calm and homey here, with greenery and pretty swings inside the property. The harbor and beach are close by, and Addu atoll is a convenient base from here. Our modern room was clean, comfortable, and made up every day. The host was great too. I’d recommend staying here.

I loved my time here and hope to come back soon. Fiyala is right on the main link road, near dive centres, the airport, shops, restaurants, and a swim track I really enjoyed. The garden was stunning and very well kept, and our room was immaculate. The people managing the guesthouse were lovely, helpful, and pleasant. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Addu!

The room was spotless and the air conditioning worked amazingly well. The two ladies who run this little place were lovely and helpful, and it had the friendly local feel we wanted for a quiet stay. Breakfast was egg, toast, bread, jam, and coffee. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great, but we had a local SIM, so it didn’t matter much. I’d stay again if we returned to Feydhoo.

Several good places to eat are nearby, and the airport is close too. The staff were warm and welcoming, and easy to talk to whenever we needed anything. We stayed at Fiyala at the end of October and found it really rejuvenating. The open backyard with its colourful bougainvilleas was soothing, while our spacious, clean room had cheerful trinkets and a whale shark plushie that made our week. The bathroom had the products we needed as well. We’ll choose this place again when we come back.
