My newly married friends stayed here for their honeymoon. They thought the place seemed like paradise, but their stay turned into a nightmare when the bride’s engagement ring and wedding band went missing from their room as they were checking out. The room had already been cleaned when they returned, and they realized then that the rings were gone. They asked the staff for help but got nowhere. Instead, they were questioned and asked for proof. They were even told that if they called the police, they would have to pay for the boat fare themselves. The bride felt helpless. The rings mean a lot to brides, and we’re most concerned about the trauma this caused our friend. The staff said they would investigate, but I don’t know what happened. It felt like an inside job, though I can’t prove that. We had been planning a Maldives vacation too. Such a disappointment.

The house reef was amazing for snorkeling. I saw a stingray, an eagle ray, blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, a turtle, and lots of colorful fish. The hotel is a lovely, quiet size with a gentle atmosphere. The staff were friendly, supportive, and happy to help make the holiday great.

My newly married friends honeymooned at this resort. They said the stay was lovely, but while they were out, the bride’s engagement ring and wedding ring were stolen from their room. They have photos showing where they left the rings. Room security seems compromised, which is a serious concern.

The excursions were well organized and memorable, and gave us a better feel for the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed taking part in a few of them. Meals were consistently delicious, fresh, and varied, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff were warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, which added to the relaxed feel of the island. We had an amazing time at Safari Island and would gladly return if we get the chance. It’s a place that stays with you.

The beach and resort are beautiful, and the restaurant service was superb. Mr. Naseem was especially good and supportive as our waiter. Please keep it up.
