Azul Retreat

Mande was such a kind and attentive host. He explained everything and made sure we were comfortable, and the communication was thoughtful and smooth the whole time. He even received a package we had sent from Germany to Malé, which was above and beyond. The room was cozy, well kept, and had air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and lovely. Breakfast was delicious, with two excellent options to choose from. The island itself is stunning too, which made our stay at Azul Retreat even more memorable.

We loved the beach view from the clean, modern rooms. The hotel was in a great location, and the staff were wonderful. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

The owner let us pay for all the activities through him by card, which was really handy. He and the rest of the staff were lovely, and helped us book scuba diving and a whale shark and manta ray snorkeling trip. It was incredible. On Dhigurah, activity providers are tied to specific hotels. The place was quieter during our April visit, because of the conflict in the Middle East. That's a shame, since breakfast was lovely and there were plenty of nearby restaurants with good food at reasonable prices. A really nice guesthouse with excellent value for the Maldives. We'd highly recommend it, even if you aren't traveling on a budget. 😊

Mohammed was very nice, and the service was great. We loved the delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, modern room, and seaside location. Everything was just right, and we had a wonderful time. We'll definitely come back. Thank you!
