Lonuhiri at Dhigurah

We had a lovely stay at Lonuhiri. The service team did a great job, our room suited us well, and breakfast was nice. I can only recommend it!

Our last morning, before breakfast started, they gave us a packed breakfast since we had to leave early. The regular breakfast selection is limited: waffles, eggs scrambled or fried, bread, butter, jam, cereal, juice, and four hot dishes that changed daily. We saw things like sausages, beans in tomato sauce, pasta, chickpeas, and spinach in sauce. The LonuMirus hotel restaurant is worth recommending for its very good food. The waitress who served us each day was super friendly, though the food took a while to arrive. That seemed true of all the restaurants we visited in Maldives. The hotel looks quite new, right by the harbour. It was clean and modern, with friendly staff and good service. The rooftop terrace had a pool, but it was empty during our stay. The sunrise and sunset views from up there were beautiful. We stayed in spacious, clean room 107, which had a balcony. Construction was happening right next door, and the only view from our room was the site. We could hear the noise through the door, which was a big downside for us, though it wasn’t really the hotel’s fault.

(Traveller from Germany) We were a little unsure at first because the hotel had only recently opened and had just a few reviews, but we went ahead and ended up very happy with our stay. The hotel is conveniently right where you arrive after the boat transfer. Bikini Beach takes a walk or a ride to reach, but that was fine for us. The rooms look just like the photos: very modern and spotless. Honestly, I don’t think they could have been any cleaner. Jange at reception was excellent and helped with all our questions and problems. The restaurant food was delicious and fairly priced. Breakfast was the weak spot. There was something different each day, but the choice was extremely limited. We’d still definitely recommend the hotel and would love to come back.

We spent five wonderful nights at Lonuhiri Dhigurah and would happily return. The room was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the ocean view was amazing. We stayed in a top-floor sea-view room and could watch a breathtaking sunrise on the horizon from bed each morning. Such a peaceful way to begin the day. The bathtub was big, too. Of all the places we stayed on local islands, this was easily the most comfortable. The hotel is very new, so everything felt fresh, clean, and well maintained. Highly recommended!
