The Wave Dhigurah

We never got to stay at the property, but still wanted to share how they treated us. Our flights were cancelled because of the global situation and the conflict involving Iran in the Middle East, so we had to change our plans at the last minute and couldn't make it. Even with only a day's notice before arrival, the host kindly let us cancel our Booking.com reservation for free. We're very grateful for the understanding, flexibility, and support during such a stressful time. Thanks again for the kindness and professionalism. We really appreciate it.

The room was lovely and clean, and we liked having breakfast in the private courtyard. The staff were kind, polite, and helpful, and the room was cleaned regularly. We could choose Maldivian or continental breakfast at our preferred time, and the Maldivian option was excellent. We were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend this guesthouse.

The location is handy for tours from the harbour. Just keep in mind that the bikini beach and most restaurants are a 10-15 minute walk away. Staff will pick you up and drop you off at the harbour, and made our arrival and departure easy. From the first minute they were warm and welcoming, and could arrange whatever we needed, from boat transfers to bike hire and tours. The rooms are clearly new, with an amazing mattress, pillows, duvet, and sheets. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was a mini fridge, kettle, plenty of space, and a nice little front yard. We had such a happy, smooth stay. I really recommend it!

The service was the standout. Management responded incredibly quickly and warmly to every request, whether we needed tours, transfers, or local tips. Breakfast was included and freshly made to order each morning, a great perk for the price. The rooms were spotless, modern, and comfortable, a welcome retreat after diving, snorkeling, and exploring. The Wave Dhigurah is a great value choice for travelers who want a Maldivian experience on a budget while still having comfort and good hospitality. It's just steps from the powdery beach and turquoise water Dhigurah is known for. We loved our time here and are already dreaming of coming back. Absolutely recommend!
