Mohammed looked after us from the moment he welcomed us at the harbour until he saw us onto the right boat for the next island. He was extremely kind and helpful. He also arranged breakfast an hour earlier than usual so we could make our excursion. The guest house is at the end of the island, about two minutes from the sandy bikini beach. Breakfast was very nice. The room was basic and on the small side, but had what we needed. A small fridge and a few drawers would make it better. We’d definitely come back if we return to the island.

The rooms are clean, the air conditioning works well, and the showers get hot. It’s about a three-minute walk to the beaches, and the food at his restaurant is excellent. The butter chicken is the best on the island. Mohamed went out of his way to provide great service!

The host has some great stories from his time as a captain, and took us evening fishing the day after arranging a trip to see a whale shark, mantas, and a turtle, with lunch on a sandbank. Apparently we were lucky to see them all. The bikini beach is just around the corner, with an amazing house reef right by the shore. Breakfast was ordinary but good, and the mattress was really good too. The rest was just fine. For the price, this is hard to beat!

The island is gorgeous, peaceful, and quiet, with clear water and powdery beaches a short walk from Rayva Inn. The inn is well placed near the beach and friendly locals, with some lovely small restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the fresh, delicious homemade meals there. We felt cared for in every way. What made our stay so special was Mohammed. From arrival, he treated us like family. His warmth and attention went well beyond what we expected from a guesthouse host. He arranged a romantic dinner right on the sand, with candles and beautiful decorations. It was intimate, thoughtfully done, and unforgettable. When I needed a haircut, he helped me find a local barber and made sure I was taken care of. Later, I urgently needed to reach a government pharmacy on a nearby island. He arranged a boat straight away and came with me to make sure I got what I needed before closing time. He also gave us local advice and recommendations for the next part of our trip. That kind of personal help is rare. Mohammed really looks out for his guests, and we’re so grateful. We can’t wait to return.

The rooms were clean and had AC, and the bikini beach is very close. Our host was generous, kind, and always ready to help with what we needed. The food was plentiful and tasty. We really enjoyed our March stay at Rayva Inn and can recommend it.
