We stayed at Mandhoo Inn for three nights and came away with really good memories. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the food was good and plentiful. The owner was easy to reach and helpful. I especially appreciated being able to ask him so many things about waste management on the island, food imports, and the everyday lives of local residents. On our first day, he showed us the fishermen bringing in their catch and cleaning the fish, then feeding the scraps to the stingrays. The snorkeling trip was another highlight: we found five or six mantas and had a private half hour with them before other boats turned up. On the way back, the owner heard there was a whale shark nearby. We quickly switched from the slow boat to a speedboat to try to find it. In one day we saw mantas, a whale shark, turtles, and dolphins, then swam in a lagoon with sharks 🥶. We finished our stay with dinner by candlelight on the beach. It was an authentic experience, and we have very fond memories of our time with the host.

Mandhoo had the quieter, more local feel we were looking for, and often we had the tourist beach to ourselves. At high tide, snorkeling was excellent. We saw turtles, baby reef sharks, and loads of colorful fish every day. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we had a very relaxing stay. We spent five nights at Mandhoo Inn and the host was kind, friendly, and great at keeping in touch over WhatsApp. It was easy to arrange the local ferry to Mandhoo and a speedboat back to the airport. We ate every meal at the Inn during Ramadan, with lots of variety and delicious fresh fish. The food was exceptional. Day trips are available, but we didn't take one, so I can't comment on those. If you're after a peaceful local island with fewer tourists, Mandhoo is a great option, and Mandhoo Inn is a lovely place to stay.

For five days, we had the beach to ourselves. It was so peaceful, and the island is beautiful. We also loved how friendly the local community was, with people smiling and greeting us warmly. As long as you respect the culture, especially by dressing modestly, you'll feel very welcome. We had a wonderful time at Mandhoo Inn. Our host was kind, helpful, and made us feel at home. Breakfast each morning was delicious and so huge that the two of us couldn't finish it. Dinner was just as generous and tasty. The house reef is full of life, and we were lucky enough to see a turtle, some reef sharks, and lots of colorful fish. We took a day trip to another island, but it didn't compare to Mandhoo. It still feels like an undiscovered gem. If you want a quiet, authentic Maldivian stay, this is the place. We loved it and would come back in a heartbeat.

We wanted a stay that was relaxed but still active, and Mandhoo Inn gave us just that. We got to do lots of activities away from groups of tourists. Naif and his family were great hosts and made the experience feel genuine and amazing, the kind of stay we wouldn't get anywhere else. We loved it and highly recommend it.

We only stayed three nights and really wished we'd booked longer. It was absolutely wonderful. Mohamed took such good care of us, and everything we asked for was arranged. You could tell he really wanted us to feel comfortable. We went on an excursion and saw dolphins and turtles, then swam with manta rays. It was magical. This feels like a hidden gem in the Maldives. For peace, quiet, great service, and a chance to swim alone with mantas, I can't think of a better place.
