Dhigufaru Island Resort

The house reef was one of our favorite parts. We could snorkel straight from the beach each day and saw loads of marine life, including colorful fish, rays, and even reef sharks. The staff made the stay, though. They were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Ankit looked after us so well at every meal, and Abdul at the pool bar made our afternoons more enjoyable with friendly service and fantastic drinks. Dhigufaru Island Resort was just what we wanted for a relaxing Maldivian escape. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, perfect for unwinding. Our room matched its description, with plenty of space and comfort, and the thoughtfully designed outdoor bathroom added a lovely touch of luxury. We'd happily recommend the resort and would love to return.

We travel a lot, but haven't had service like this before. Everyone at Dhigufaru was so organized, kind, and helpful that leaving was hard. Ankit, Akhil and Prashanth made each restaurant meal special, and Mary, our private service manager from the front office, did an amazing job. Huge thanks to the whole Dhigufaru Team. Keep up the great work! Our stay was amazing, and we'll definitely come back one day. ❤️ The island is beautiful and natural, with stunning scenery. We had the MOST AMAZING stay.

Dinner on the terrace had a lovely atmosphere, though it was sometimes too dark. A little more lighting would make it perfect. The beaches all around the island were stunning, with clear water and soft white sand, and I really enjoyed the good variety of food. The staff were always friendly, and the large, bright rooms were comfortable. A couple of things could be better: cleaning could be more thorough. The bed linen was changed regularly, but the bathroom wasn't always properly cleaned. There was also only one shower towel, and having an extra would be helpful. I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Dhigufaru Island Resort and would definitely recommend it for an island getaway.

The food kept us happy throughout our stay, with fresh buffet meals and plenty of Indian, Arabic, Thai, Chinese and other choices. We also loved the activities, especially the dolphin cruise, snorkeling and kayaking. The team arranged a candlelight dinner for us, one of the most memorable nights of the trip, and the pool bar had a fun atmosphere with DJ and karaoke evenings. We spent 11 nights and 12 days at Dhigufaru Island Resort. After arriving at Velana International Airport, the Manta Air seaplane ride gave us an incredible view of turquoise lagoons and little islands. Our first three nights were in the Sangu Villa (Presidential Suite), with a private pool, sauna room and lovely honeymoon setup. It was spacious, clean and luxurious. Then we spent nine days in the Sunset Water Villa. We could watch the ocean and sunsets from the deck, and one evening even watched the rain from our balcony. So peaceful. The staff were warm, polite and keen to help. Housekeeping and room service were excellent. Dhigufaru Island Resort made this a dream Maldives trip, from the flight in the sky to our last goodbye. A beautiful choice for couples, honeymooners or anyone wanting a peaceful luxury getaway. 💙
