South Ari Dive Center

By the end of the week, the organization had suddenly improved and everything was perfect. There were some early problems, though. Equipment boxes were often missing items even when we packed them properly the day before, which caused delays. I also wish I’d known from the first day that three dives a day were possible. I couldn’t complete all the dives I’d booked because of that, though I was properly refunded. The people on the boat were fantastic, and the South Ari Dive center guides were friendly, warm, and eager to help. I felt very safe with them. These are things I think the center can improve. I highly recommend it for diving in the Maldives! ♡

We saw a different dive site every day and admired all kinds of fish and corals, including sharks and mantas. We didn’t manage to spot whale sharks, but the diving was still a very positive experience. We booked a diving and accommodation package, and Bassam, Shaalley, Shubo, Rohit, and the whole team made us feel at home. We enjoyed the trip so much that we stayed longer, including extending our dives, instead of changing islands as planned.

We got to choose our dive sites, which was great. We didn’t have any luck with whale sharks this time, but we did see mantas, and the reefs were stunning. Broken Rock and Kudarah Thila were the highlights for me. I went in with nine dives and my AOW, and the crew made everything feel natural and fun during our awesome five-day, 13-dive trip with South Ari Dive Center. Our guide Jaishan was hilarious. He always seemed a little stressed while keeping the group together and tracking people down, but that honestly made us feel safe. Rohit and Freddy were also on the boat, and they were amazing, helpful, and lots of fun. Great team. I’m planning to return to complete my Divemaster!

We spent five days with South Ari Dive Center and did 13 dives around Dhangheti. The mix included channel dives and calmer ones at the pillars and walls. Our guide Jaishan made sure we saw as much as possible underwater, from the big wonders to the small ones. The rest of the crew helped with the equipment and boat, and kept the good vibes going between dives. We definitely recommend this center for exploring the South Ari Atoll.
