Ufa Escape

The open-air bathroom was a real highlight for me, and it was clean. The room itself was spacious, with a comfortable bed. I also loved the decor in the open areas, which made the guest house feel beautiful and comfortable. The food was great. I especially recommend the Maldivian breakfast, beef and chicken curries, and fish and chips. Staff were kind and helpful the whole time. I highly recommend staying here.

Ufa escape felt really cosy, and the food was tasty, served whenever we wanted. Hood was a great host who organised two perfect excursions for us. We saw whale sharks and manta rays, and I really recommend the experience. Dinner was even nicer with Hood playing guitar and singing beautiful songs, which made for a lovely atmosphere. It was totally magnificent. If you're staying on Dhigurah, Ufa escape is the best choice :)

We loved staying at UFA Escape. The owner and staff were warm, friendly and open-hearted, and the whole place had a cosy, home-like feel. The leafy inner grounds are beautiful, and everything feels put together with love and taste. The location is great. Our room was very quiet, and we slept better than we can remember sleeping at home. The modern amenities were all clean and working well. Meals were delicious, and one of the island's best restaurants is right here. It was also a real pleasure to have good coffee every morning 😊🧡

What made our stay at Ufa Escape special was how Hoodh treated us like friends visiting his home. His genuine warmth and the staff's friendly, cheerful care made us feel welcome from the start. When we arrived at the harbour, staff were waiting with a car, took us and our bags to the hotel, introduced us to the place and showed us our room. It was spacious and very clean, with everything we needed. They cleaned it daily and replenished our towels and water. The meals were a highlight. There was lots of choice at breakfast and dinner, including omelets cooked to your liking, and everything we ate was delicious. The staff blended local and international flavors wonderfully. Hoodh also played guitar and sang during dinner, adding a lovely touch. For my friend's fiftieth birthday, he arranged a celebration beyond what we imagined, with a beautiful cake and a lavish dinner. Every detail was taken care of, making it a joyful, unforgettable night. Hoodh refused any financial compensation. The hotel is about 100 meters from the bikini beach, which stretches all the way to the sand bank. They arranged transport there for 10$/Way Back. Ufa Escape also offered an option respecting local alcohol laws: free access to a cruise ship moored off the island, where Dhigurah guests could enjoy scenic views and alcohol at a reasonable price without breaking Islamic countries' laws. I wanted an authentic cultural experience, and the local traditions, food, and customs gave me that. This was unlike any other hospitality experience I've had. My departure was emotional, with sincere tears. Ufa Escape is a wonderful guest house on Dhigurah Island and an extraordinary taste of Maldivian hospitality.
