Ecoboo Maldives

There was plenty to do each day, from fishing and sunset outings to snorkelling, karaoke and even a funny crab race. The activities helped create a relaxed atmosphere, and we could join in whenever we wanted. Sam and Valentina, along with the rest of the staff, were friendly, attentive and keen to make things easy. Our full-board meals were a highlight: generous choice, well prepared, and a different menu every day. The cakes were especially amazing. The rooms were cleaned daily and well maintained. We liked the eco-friendly touches, too: they gave us a reusable bottle on arrival and refilled our water each day. The beach area was clean and well organized. Prices seemed reasonable for the service, even cheap by comparison. They also arranged our boat transfer to Malé airport, with a seaplane available if preferred. We had a wonderful stay at Ecoboo Maldives and would absolutely recommend it.

What made our birthday trip feel like paradise was the people. Loredana, Valentina, Felice and Inkey, thank you for your kindness, professionalism and smiles. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to make us feel special, and we left wanting to return as soon as we can. The suite was immaculate and beautifully designed, with breathtaking turquoise-water views. The clear sea and peaceful setting made the place feel like a dream, especially with the birthday surprise. Food was delicious, with lovely choices each day. We enjoyed the marine life and scenery on activities, including snorkelling and sunset cruises, and also spent time relaxing on the pristine beach. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. It was a birthday dream come true.

The beach was beautiful, with plenty of places to sit, and the Balinese massage was great. We enjoyed the snorkelling excursions, though staff communication about them could have been better. We booked because of the sustainability focus. The rooms were nice, but our ceiling fan was broken and couldn’t be fixed during our stay. Food in the main dining area was bland and disappointing. The beach bar food was okay, nothing special.

The water activities were a big hit with the children. They were well organized, with a strong focus on safety, and the kids had a great time while we parents felt reassured. We were several families travelling together, with 11 children in all, and the hotel worked really well for us. It felt safe enough that the children could play freely, spend hours at the football field and even go to meals on their own. The atmosphere was family-friendly, the rooms cosy and common areas well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there was tasty, varied food for adults and kids alike. We were very happy with our stay and recommend it to families looking for somewhere relaxed and well equipped.
