Finolhu Beach Guest House

We spent a week here, and the three meals each day were all good, with plenty of fish dishes. If you're after steak and chips, stay in the UK. The guesthouse is in a perfect spot on the island, and the staff went out of their way to help. I loved every bit of it and can't wait to return.

The weather threw off our plans, with every trip cancelled and us more or less stuck on the island. The staff still found ways to make the stay special: they took me fishing and snorkeling with them and showed me a lot of local culture. Since we had to spend extra time in the room during those rainy first two days, they moved me to a nicer sea view room. It's a cozy, lovely guesthouse, and the people working there were amazing. I had a really good time despite the weather, and I'll definitely come back. Thanks for making it unforgettable.

We opted for full board and were happy with that choice. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all came with an ocean view, and there were fresh pastries in the morning. The staff were attentive and polite, and the rooms were cleaned every day. It's a small, cozy hotel in a quiet spot, with easy access to the house reef, where we saw lots of fish and stingrays. In the evenings, you can lie on the loungers at the private beach and watch the stars. The best hotel on the island.

I loved the quiet setting of Finolhu Beach Guest House, tucked away at the far end of the main harbor on Felidhoo. I stayed six days, and my room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and had a lovely view of the palm trees. The AC gave me trouble after the first night, but they moved me to another room right away. For exploring Vaavu Atoll, I booked with Jimmy’s Maldives at the end of Bodumagu, the main street. Gen, Picco, Ibbe and Jamite made the outing feel special and helped make my time in Felidhoo unforgettable. Their prices are a little higher than elsewhere, but I thought the service was worth it. I had a great stay and hope to return someday.
