Losing my €1000 deposit felt like really poor service. I organize retreats and had hoped to bring my group here, but when I couldn’t make the trip, the hotel wouldn’t let me move the booking, even though I asked two months ahead. They’d told me the deposit was non-refundable, and they also wouldn’t let me use it toward a personal stay. I found the attitude toward organizers unfriendly.

A dubious pleasure. The hosts came across as rude, like they thought they were doing us a favor by having us in their home. Prices were inflated, while the service and food were mediocre compared with other places on the same island.

We spent our time at the beautiful beach and sandbank, and went scuba diving and snorkelling with instructors who were professional and clearly loved their work. Claudio and Michaela are caring hosts, and the attention to detail at Villa Rosa makes it a lovely place to relax. Everything was excellent, and we had a wonderful vacation. We’d happily recommend Villa Rosa and come back.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was fun seeing the cats having a good time. Dinner was my favorite meal, and all the food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Claudio and Michela were so welcoming and helped me plan my days on Feridhoo island. I went snorkelling at the BBQ beach and swam with a turtle, then relaxed at the bikini beach and watched the sunset. We had everything we needed, and Villa Rosa Maldives made the stay a lot of fun. Thanks to Claudio and Michela for making it memorable. You guys rock!

The beaches and sea were amazing, and Villa Rosa gave us high quality service in a setting that helped us understand local life. The island is small, about one kilometer by 500 meters, with no restaurants, discos, pubs, or the usual resort atmosphere. The owners know tourism and travel well and shared lots of information about the Maldives. Getting between the airport and island was efficiently organized, with no inconveniences. The rooms and furniture were beautiful, everything was clean and high quality down to the soft lounge music that made a pleasant atmosphere. The Italian food was great. A wonderful experience, and we’ll be back.
