Kondey Villas

We had a lovely, relaxing week at Kondey island. The small hotel is clean, quiet and pleasant, and the staff were so helpful. Everything was well organised, and whenever we needed anything, someone helped us. The island is beautiful and often you have a place like the beach all to yourself, which was fantastic. I'd happily go back and hope to one day. There are good internet connections, a beautiful hotel pool, a great reef at the bikini beach, another sandbank bikini beach, and interesting trips and boat excursions on offer. Food options are limited because the hotel is small. We weren't hungry, but if you're fussy, it's wise to bring some favorite snacks. There are three shops on the island, though you won't find much there. Fresh fruit and vegetables are scarce, with apples and watermelons available. You can get a coconut for 6 USD. There's no coffee except instant, so coffee lovers should be ready for a little detox. Knowing that, you can come prepared and enjoy a good, coffee-free rest!

Getting from Malé International Airport to Kondey was handled with real care. The owner personally managed the whole journey, and the domestic transfers felt precise and easy, almost like VIP service. The stay had a great mix of local charm and modern luxury, and the hospitality was a big part of that. The villas were spotless every day, always fresh smelling, and the rooms had lots of space to relax. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in, and the crisp, smooth, high-quality sheets made it hard to get up. There was also a beautiful swimming pool, a lovely place to cool down after exploring or sit quietly with a book. We had a stress-free, authentic Maldivian stay and would definitely come back. I can't recommend Kondey Villas highly enough.

Kondey is so peaceful and beautiful, with lovely marine life and very friendly people. I had a wonderful stay with my family. Manager Ramittey really made a difference by responding so well to what guests needed.

The one downside was that our vacation ended too soon! Ko Villa is a charming little place on Kondey, with great, spacious new rooms and a pool where you can relax. What made the trip so great, though, was the people. Ahmed, the owner, kept checking that everything was going smoothly and stepped in to sort out any little problems. Rameez was always helpful, and Nave's friendly smile brightened the day. Big thanks to the staff for making our vacation so wonderful. We'll definitely be back!
