The meals were a highlight, every one we had was great, and the people who made them deserve a shout-out. Kandoodhoo is a lovely break from the more touristy islands, with friendly, helpful locals and a very clean lodge and island. There’s no bikini beach, as you’d expect on a local island. Much of the coral has lost its colour, as it has in many parts of the world, but there are still lots of beautiful fish, turtles, stingrays, and the occasional dolphin to see.

Bahari Lodge was nice, and the staff were very friendly. The beach, though, had plastic and litter, and there’s no bikini beach. This wasn’t the Maldives I expected.

There’s one nice beach, and the snorkeling and coral are okay. The people are nice and take good care of you.

The local food was delicious, and the people were wonderful and welcoming. The accommodation was clean and tidy on this amazing tropical island. Highly recommend it :))
