Kuredu Island Resort & Spa

We snorkelled right off the beach in front of our villa and saw loads of lovely fish. The house reef is amazing, though the ship wreck feels a little eerie. We did two excursions, one with ProDive and one with the resort, and both were really good. My partner also had one of the best massages she’s ever had at O Duniye spa. We spent one night in the Water Villas, then moved to the 'O' Jacuzzi Beach Villas, rooms 235 & 242. They were well placed for us and felt private. The rooms were beautifully kept, the mini bar stayed stocked, and the bathroom was great too. The 'O' Resort restaurant, bar, and pool were outstanding. Food was varied and delicious, the pool was exquisite, and every staff member was lovely. Vishal took especially good care of us, and Maruti cooked fabulous food. We also loved watching the black tipped sharks from the outdoor tables. Wholeheartedly recommend this resort.

The evening buggy shortage was the one small snag for us. When everyone heads to dinner, there sometimes aren’t enough, and a few extra bikes might help. There’s loads to enjoy here with kids, especially the great kids club. Menuka, Seily, and Suzu were amazing with them, so we could have some quality time as a couple. Tharu, our contact on-site, also went out of their way to make my husband’s birthday memorable. The boat excursions are worth doing, and the boat team really made an effort to give us a great experience. There are plenty of water sports, the food is good, and the staff are so kind and helpful. For me it’s a 10/10. I’ll always remember all the marine life I discovered here. Thank you, Kuredu 🙏

As vegetarians, we really appreciated how the Bonthi chef team took time every day to explain the dishes, suggest alternatives, and make food that went beyond what we expected. Preeti and Burhan at Bonthi Restaurants also deserve special praise. Their attention, professionalism, and service were flawless, and they’re the best host and waiter we’ve ever had. Prasaad, our Island Host, made sure every detail of our stay was taken care of. Geet, Kiso, and everyone at Babuna Bar and Pool Bar were consistently attentive and efficient, always with genuine warmth. The turn-down and garden teams, along with every other person on the island, were friendly, professional, and dedicated. We’ve stayed at several high-end 5-star resorts around the world, and in our view Kuredu Island Resort surpasses them all. It feels like a model of hospitality. Kuredu Island Resort is nothing less than perfect.

As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and looked after the whole time. Everything was organized well, including the daily activities and an easy, stress-free departure. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Kuredu Maldives is a beautiful, spacious island that’s really well maintained, with clear water, lovely beaches, and greenery everywhere. There was lots to do, from snorkeling and diving to sports and excursions, but it was just as easy to relax. The restaurants had lovely ocean views, and the food was excellent with plenty of choice. I loved my stay and would happily come back. It’s a great mix of fun and downtime for a solo trip. Highly recommended!
