Safari Island

My newlywed friends spent their honeymoon here. They said the place felt like paradise, but what happened was a nightmare. As they were about to check out, the bride realized she had left her engagement ring and wedding band in the room. It had already been cleaned by the time they returned, and the rings were gone. They asked the staff for help but got nowhere, only questions and requests for proof. They were even told that if they called the police, they would have to pay for the seafare themselves. The bride felt helpless and hopeless. It was an inside job! Those rings mean so much to brides, and the whole thing was terrible. The staff said they would investigate, but I don’t know what happened after that. What concerns us most is the trauma our friend went through. We were planning a Maldives vacation too, and this was such a disappointment. What a nightmare!

My newlywed friends had a wonderful honeymoon at this resort, until a terrible incident spoiled it. While they were out, the bride’s engagement ring and wedding ring were stolen from inside their room. They have photos showing where they had left them. The room’s security seems to be compromised somehow, and that’s a serious concern.

The excursions were well organized and unforgettable, and helped us appreciate the beautiful surroundings more. We also loved the relaxed island atmosphere and how warmly the staff welcomed us from the moment we arrived. Every meal was fresh, varied, and delicious, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We had an amazing time at Safari Island and would definitely come back if we get the chance. It’s a place that stays with you.

It’s a great island for switching off. White sand runs all the way around, with palm trees giving some shade, and the coral reef makes for good snorkeling. The fish are fantastic. I even saw Nemo tucked among the coral, as well as basking reef sharks. The bungalows have air conditioning, and most have steps leading straight into clear, warm, inviting water. I’m a meat and veg man, and enjoyed every meal. The staff are courteous, polite, and always welcoming. I’d thoroughly recommend it and plan to return before too long.
