Eriyadu Island Resort

The peaceful natural setting was stunning, and the food stayed varied and tasty throughout my three weeks at Eri Maldives hotel. Everything felt modern, spotless and carefully maintained down to the smallest detail. The staff were especially friendly, helpful and always smiling, and they handled requests quickly and professionally. I’d definitely recommend staying here in the Maldives.

Eriyadu (Eri Maldives) is a lovely, peaceful island for a holiday, and its house reef is extraordinary. The waiting staff were amazing, especially Noor, who took extra care with my soy milk preference and GF allergy. The kitchen staff looked after me well in general, and the cleaning staff were wonderful to chat with and cheerful every day.

We stayed four nights and five days in April 2026. The sea, room and view were all perfect, and service in the main restaurant was very good. The food there was well cooked, but the buffet was below standard for choice: lunch and dinner were exactly the same every day, with no seafood, just one fish and one chicken option, and much the same vegetables. More variety would improve the experience. There was construction work, fortunately on the opposite side from our pool villa, which was close to the noisy generator. At Sip&dip bar, service needs a lot of improvement. On our first evening we waited nearly 15 minutes at an outside table for seat cushions while a server put them on every other seat. When we asked a manager, they called someone over, but the server threw the cushions at us as if feeding a stray dog. We were really surprised by that treatment. During the whole stay, we had to go to the bar ourselves to order drinks; nobody came to ask what we wanted. We also never received the snacks promised in the welcome letter.

As our six-day stay at Eri Maldives comes to an end, we’re leaving with a great impression of our first visit to the Maldives. The new facilities were lovely and always clean, the food was amazing, and the service from the whole team was incredible. A big thank you to everyone, including general manager Mr. Haroun. It’s a lovely destination for a relaxing break on a small natural island, and I’d recommend it. A few things could make it even better: more gym equipment such as a squat rack and dual adjustable pulley cable station, bar snacks like olives and crisps, and small all-inclusive bites such as calamari or french fries.
