Getting there was simple: it’s by the airport and ferry terminal to Male, with food places nearby, and it’s the second stop on the airport bus. The location works well if you arrive late. The room was okay, but the bed was poor. The airport pickup included in my booking never happened. The place is now called Awesome Comfort Hotel.

We stayed for two nights in March 2019. The surroundings were pleasant and it’s very close to Hulhumale public beach, but the service fell short. We also ran short of water when trying to shower. The place now goes by Awesome Comfort.

Breakfast comes with the stay, toast, omelette and sausage. The Wi-Fi is free, though slow; after trying several other places, slow internet seemed to be a nationwide issue. It’s also a minute from the beach and an easy one-minute walk from the airport bus’s last stop. One of the least expensive options near Male Airport, with a bus connection from the airport.

There’s a market nearby, and the sea is close too. It’s a budget hotel in Hulmale, Maldives, with breakfast included.

The room wasn’t cleaned during the day, even after I asked, and the staff seemed untrained. The bathroom had broken taps and no hot water. For what I paid, this place wasn’t worth it.
