The rooftop view is a real plus, and the hotel sits nicely between old Malé and the newer part of the island. The rooms were lovely and the location is convenient. Some staff didn’t know much about local ferry schedules or how to reach certain islands, which was frustrating since visitors often need that help. A more senior woman was much more helpful and called my hotel in Dhiffushi to ask how I could get there, so thanks to her. If you’re stuck with the same question, try contacting the hotel on the island you’re heading to, or ask staff here to call them. Many hotels run their own ferry shuttles from the international airport, with separate booths in an area that works like a taxi pickup, so a private speedboat may not be needed. The place has a welcoming feel, and the recently renovated rooms are clean and modern. But there were lipstick marks on the bed, which was gross. Noise came through constantly, from doors, showers, and the street, and I could hear everything. I barely slept. It’s okay for a single night, though I wouldn’t want to stay longer.

The location worked well, near the airport and some good restaurants, with tourist spots close enough to walk to. We stayed two nights and I was happy with the service. They upgraded us to a room with a better window view at no extra charge, and gave us a ride to and from Valena Airport. Breakfast had a decent selection.

We found the room very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The airport pickup and drop-off were quick and hassle-free, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s close to the airport and plenty of restaurants. I also appreciated the wireless iPhone chargers and USB ports since we didn’t have the right adaptor.
