The rooftop buffet breakfast was the highlight for me. There was a lovely view and plenty of tasty local and international choices. Unima Grand is also in a handy spot near the sea, the Maldives Islamic Centre, and the Grand Mosque area, with shops, restaurants, and local sights nearby. Airport transfers in both directions were useful after a long trip, and the staff guided us through the process smoothly. They were polite and helpful at check-in and checkout, and handled requests quickly. My room was clean and had the basics, including a freezer, wardrobe, TV, kettle, toiletries, and a comfortable bed, though it was small and had no window. A decent choice for a short stay or transit.

The location was handy, on busy streets and within walking distance of the local market. I only stayed one night, so I didn’t use much of the service, which was okay. The room was clean, but small for three people, so I turned down the extra bed. It felt expensive for such a little room. Breakfast was included and quite good, served in the terrace’s indoor dining area with a sea view.

The ferry terminal and the rest of the city were easy to reach from here. My room was clean, spacious, and well kept, with a lovely view over the city and ocean. The staff were very polite and made check-in easy. Breakfast tasted good and had a nice range of options. I had a wonderful stay at Unima Grand Hotel in Malé and would recommend it for a comfortable, convenient visit.

For a few hours of rest and a shower with my wife before heading back to the airport, this worked out really well. Unima is only about five minutes from the airport and cost less than the domestic lounge, which charges USD 68 per person for three hours. The room was clean and the hot shower had good pressure. We could explore the city on foot, and the hotel provided a return airport transfer, which I booked through hotels.com. Worth the money.

The restaurant on the 10th floor has a lovely view, a thoughtfully put together menu, and a great team looking after guests. Chichi, Arta, Daa, and Sandra made people feel at home, and deserve recognition for their professionalism and hard work. My room was well maintained, and housekeeping did a good job during my four-night stay at Unima Grand in Jan 26. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the sea. Vasudev, the driver who took me to and from the airport, was supportive and very helpful, giving guests a friendly first impression of the hotel.
