Captal Island Villa

We had the best part of our Maldives holiday at Captal Island Villa. It's a cozy, clean place that's recently been renovated, with spacious rooms cleaned daily and a comfortable bed that made for good sleep. The staff are kind and very helpful, including with arranging whatever trip or activity you want, from reef snorkeling to seeing corals, mantas, and turtles. It's easy to get to restaurants, shops, and both bikini beaches from here. Having breakfast, lunch, and dinner available at the hotel is a handy option, and the food is very good. Super recommended!

Sunny weather every day for us, even though the forecast had rain. We enjoyed island hopping, snorkeling, seeing manta fish, and swimming with dolphins, which was unforgettable. The activities were affordable, and Mathiveri Island has gorgeous views and picturesque beaches. The accommodation is fairly new, clean, and comfortable, with outstanding service for both the stay and tours. The food was delicious and the portions generous. Great value for the hotel and services, especially for couples looking for a quiet, quality break in the Maldives. We visited in mid-October.

The reef and sand bank along the beach at Captal Island Villa are spectacular. We joined nearly all the offered excursions and would recommend them. With some luck, we saw harmless mantas, sharks, dolphins, turtles, and lots of colorful fish. The staff made these outings safe, engaging, and unforgettable. Staying on Mathiveri also let us experience local culture and traditions in a way we probably couldn't have at a traditional resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive and kind, and made us feel like part of the family. The memories from this extraordinary stay will stay with us, and we truly hope to return. My mom and I came from Germany and had a great stay. The rooms were clean and nice, especially the bathrooms, and the service was excellent. When we asked for extra towels, they were helpful, and the cleaning was good too. The whole team was welcoming. Someone was always at the entrance desk whenever we needed to ask something or book a tour. It felt safe and friendly for women and children. I'll come back, and I'm looking forward to it!
