Mathiveri has a lovely coastline and a beautiful uninhabited picnic island nearby that you can reach each day by swimming or kayaking. There are 3 good restaurants and several grocery shops on the island, and the locals are kind and hospitable. Almost everyone speaks English. My family and I spent a week at Sands Inn in December 2021 and had a wonderful time. The house is close to the beach, with very clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice little garden. Ahsan and Ibrahim were great hosts and helped us with everything. The breakfast was picky and delicious. They arranged activities for us at very reasonable prices, including manta ray, dolphin, and shark watching, as well as evening fishing. The fish we caught was prepared for dinner. I recommend these programs to everyone. I hope to return soon 😊

I came back with my family for a second visit, and we found the place very beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the garden outside is a lovely spot that left me feeling refreshed and delighted. Mathiveri also has a nice beach and a beautiful sand bank nearby, perfect for a family picnic or a romantic spot to take memorable photos.

The staff were kind, helpful, and eager to accommodate different needs. We really liked the food, even though the island doesn't have a lot of fruits and vegetables. The owner went the extra mile to make us comfortable. It's an amazing guesthouse, and I definitely recommend it.

A quiet, uncrowded place to relax, literally less than a minute from the beach. The service was amazing and the rooms were spotless. The staff were so friendly. Thanks to Ibrahim and Ahsan for always being there for us. Ahsan made our trip really awesome. Highly recommended!

i was disappointed with this hotel. The room was dark and very dirty, with grime left by previous guests, an unwashed mirror, and mold and rust everywhere. We planned to stay 7 days but left after 2. When I wanted to cancel the rest, the owner told us we had to pay half the amount. I also don't think the hotel's Google ratings are legit. I don't recommend it.
