You can stay here and surf or fish on a budget. The island is beautiful and snorkeling is great. Local restaurants have limited choices, so I recommend fishing and keeping enough catch for meals. I also bought frozen chicken and vegetables at the super market to make roast dinners. Rooms are clean and air-conditioned, and the People are friendly and helpful. With the room, taxi boat hire to the surf breaks, and extra supermarket food, I never spent more than 70 dollars per day. I'd love to come back and see my Maldivian friends again.

We caught and cooked our own meals, and Sobah was a wonderful host. The rooms are clean, with AC and an attached bathroom. It was great value to surf, fish and snorkel all in one place. We saw 8 Manta rays frolicking at one spot, and dolphins swam alongside our boat every day. Just remember this is local budget travel, but it's one of the best ways to see the real Maldives.

The owner was kind and honest, and treated us like family. I couldn't have asked for more from the guest house, which was great value on a beautiful island. The surf and fishing were great, and diving with mantas and whales shark felt like paradise. I'm going back!!!

There's no fluff or frills here, just a budget-friendly place to stay and a strong focus on surfing. Choices are few across this island and atoll nation, so support this place. The owner goes well beyond what's expected when an issue comes up and makes sure guests are looked after. He really cares that you have a good surf trip and a good stay at his business and on the island.
