Please don’t waste your time here. We booked through Airbnb, arrived, and were told by the owner that no rooms were available. If they weren’t ready, why could we book one on Airbnb? After getting nowhere with him, we were told there’d be no refund, so we’d paid for nothing. We asked for the Wi-Fi to try to find somewhere else, but that wasn’t available either. If you have a booking, remove it and do yourself a favor.

We arrived after booking online and found the place shut. The owner wouldn’t refund us and was no help. He wouldn’t give us the Wi-Fi code so we could look for another place, and finding somewhere at the last minute cost more. Cancel your booking if you have one, or you could literally have nowhere to stay. Quite literally hell!!

The place turned out to be comfortable and good value, and our family had a fantabulous, memorable trip. Before we arrived, I was doubtful because it looked small. The owner was friendly and helpful, showed us as many places as possible, and offered the best rates he could for activities. He even fulfilled the kids’ requests on his yatch.

We had already paid for nine nights, but the receptionist told us our reservation had been cancelled by AGODA. Her English was poor, and she could never prove the cancellation. I had received no earlier email from AGODA confirming it. Milano Sky Inn put us out on the street, and we spent 5 hours trying to find another place on the island because most hotels were full. The location in Maafushi was bad too. This is no front beach hotel, and the view right outside the door was an ugly construction site with dust and trash. We felt they were trying to trick us. We reported what we considered fraudulent action by Milano Sky Inn to AGODA, and they immediately confirmed something was wrong, cancelled our reservation at our request, and charged us nothing extra. AGODA realized there was a scam at Milano Sky Inn. I do not recommend it.
