String Wave Maldives

Gulhi itself is a tiny, peaceful getaway, and the hotel's location by the ocean is great. There's one room on the top, second floor with an amazing ocean view and mesmerizing sunrises. The other rooms are neat, clean, and presentable too. Wi-Fi is free, and they can arrange transport to and from the island, with someone to meet you at the dock. The reception usually has one very helpful, kind person available. I had to check out a day early without notice, and the hotel didn't mind or charge a cancellation fee. They only serve breakfast, right on the beach. Eating beside the crashing waves felt magical. Lovely stay, with great hospitality and presentation.

The breakfast tasted even better knowing it was made with care, and the local atmosphere was lovely. Guests also get perks like a free sunbed, which costs $5 a day for many other people. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and nothing seemed like a problem, from arranging the arrival speedboat to organizing an excursion. Definitely recommend, and I'm looking forward to visiting again.

We had a pleasant three-night stay at this brand-new guesthouse, just a two-minute walk from the beautiful Bikini beach. The room was great, with air conditioning, good Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good too. We tried both the continental and Maldivian options and enjoyed them. Special thanks to the kind, humble housekeeping boy who took such good care of us.

The staff were very friendly and let us stay longer since our ferries weren't leaving until nighttime. The toilets were clean and okay. The upper-floor room has a great view.
