The value for the comfort, quiet and level of service is remarkable, especially compared with the high-end hotels I’ve stayed at around the world. We spent another fortnight at this lovely hotel in central Blantyre this year, and the reception team were consistently excellent. Thanks to Emily in housekeeping on the 5th floor, and to John and Chikondi for taking care of our special requests. Ramy, the Operations Manager of Amaryllis Hotels Blantyre, is a real credit to Ameryllis and runs the hotel so well. We hope to see everyone again next month for another family wedding before heading back to the UK.

That open terrace has a lovely view and a relaxed feel, making it a nice place to catch up with friends over food and hookah. We found the staff friendly and attentive, and the hookah setup was comfortable with plenty of flavors to choose from. The food was fresh and full of flavor, with a good range of lighter and more filling choices. We had a really enjoyable casual visit to Amaryllis Hotels.

The rooms were lovely and felt worth the price, and we enjoyed some really good dishes from the menu. The staff looked after us well and made sure we were comfortable. It’s a nice place for a beautiful aerial view of Blantyre, and we’ll definitely be back.

The pool is fantastic, with amazing views, though it would be even better if it were heated. The meeting rooms are quiet and work well for conferences. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well kept, and the location is very accessible, just a short walk from the town centre. The customer service feels genuinely caring. I’d like more food variety, particularly in the main breakfast and lunch hall.

I booked Amaryllis Residence online, but when I arrived they said there were no rooms and sent me to the hotel. I wasn’t happy with the hotel either, as the staff weren’t helpful, so I cancelled and went somewhere cheaper with excellent service.
