The road is unpaved and has no lighting at night, which can make the hotel seem farther out of town than it is. Once there, the staff are kind, cheerful and genuinely helpful with any request, and the breakfast has a rich menu to choose from. The hotel is well organized, with spacious, sunny rooms that are clean and equipped with all the basic amenities. Its restaurant is one of the best in the city, with high-quality dishes. I especially liked the lasagna alla bolognese. They also offer currency exchange and have a generator for power cuts, which is very important.

I’ve stayed at Casa Mia many, many nights since 2011. I’ve tried other hotels in Blantyre, but I always return here. Tawonga at reception takes such good care of me, and Peter, the owner, is a wonderful man. The place is centrally located but still peaceful, with good food and great rooms that they keep updated through renovations. It really feels like my home away from home in Malawi. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Blantyre, this is the place. I’m looking forward to coming back.

There’s a nice restaurant and WiFi, and the rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning and a good bathroom. The hotel is reached by a more private access road, so it stays quiet. The staff are very nice, respectful and ready to help, and there’s always someone there to carry your luggage when you arrive. Definitely worth the money.

The location and atmosphere are excellent, and the service was fantastic. I didn’t see the rooms, so I can’t comment on those, but the menu is definitely worth trying. The food was delicious.

The rooms are clean, the food is fresh and the service is good, though a bit slow. It’s a good location, not far from Blantyre city centre. The road on the way is a little rough, but it’s short enough that it doesn’t really matter. I’d recommend the place.
