The rooms are spacious, and the pool was clean when I visited. It’s a quiet lodge with a good standard for such an affordable price.

The meals were generous and enjoyable, especially breakfast, which I could barely finish. Most of the afternoon was peaceful, though around evening I heard people walking noisily along the corridors. I couldn’t tell whether they were guests or staff. The receptionist was especially kind and gentle with me. After leaving for the evening, she came back in the morning and asked if I’d slept well. Getting there involves a short stretch off the main Chilomoni road that I found a bit inconvenient, but Google Maps made the place easy to find.

We’re hoping to book this lovely, inexpensive find in Blantyre for a little anniversary getaway. The rooms look gorgeous, and breakfast is included. It could be just the spot for a special occasion with my husband.
