Villa 33

We spent three weeks here and loved the restful atmosphere. The monkeys often gave us something to watch, without becoming pests or a nuisance. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. Don’t miss breakfast: every one was made with real imagination and was a treat. Laundry service was excellent, and the staff were cheerful.

The gardens are stunning, with lots of quiet outdoor spots to sit and listen to the birds. The pool is long enough for laps, and there’s a gym too. Food was excellent, and for work we found good wifi and quiet places to set up and hold meetings. Central Blantyre and nearby restaurants were only a few minutes’ drive away. We stayed for over two weeks and I’d absolutely recommend Villa 33. The rooms were spotless and spacious, with very comfortable beds, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

We were able to work throughout our business stay thanks to stable wifi that was good enough for video calls. The food deserves a special mention, it was consistently amazing. The rooms were amazing too, the garden was beautiful, the gym was well stocked and the staff incredibly friendly. Absolutely lovely place to stay in Blantyre. I’d recommend it to anyone. The rooms are adequately spaced, and the lodge is in a quiet, quaint setting. I spent one night here and thought it was good value for money. I didn’t try the hotel food, so I can’t compare it, since I bought mine at Bombay Lounge. I’d recommend the place and will keep staying here when I’m in Blantyre.
