The three rooms we booked for the family smelled strongly of pee. The floors and kitchen were dirty, there were bugs on the ground, and the bathroom was filthy. The elevator was broken too, so my heavyset mother-in-law, who usually can’t climb three flights of stairs, had no choice but to do it. I was exhausted and close to tears, but I knew I couldn’t sleep there. We had arrived around 10 pm, worn out from the beach, and were ready to crash. At check-in they couldn’t find our reservation. I had no internet, and they wouldn’t let me connect to the lobby Wi-Fi so I could pull up my confirmation. They told us to sit while they looked. The workers were rude and didn’t seem to understand how tired we were. It took an hour to find the reservation. We asked the front desk to move us or at least clean the rooms. They refused, saying that since we’d entered, they couldn’t offer the rooms to another family or accommodate us. I said we’d leave without using them that night and wanted a refund. They refused that too, because we’d already been in the rooms. I was furious. We packed up and left a few minutes after checking in, with no refund. The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The view is awesome, and the staff are very helpful, but this hotel is hard to get around if you have a disability. There are many stairs, including a wide staircase down to the beachfront, which is truly difficult to access. The elevators are small, and a wheelchair has to be folded to fit. They really need more ramps and bigger elevators. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to someone with vision impairment or who uses a wheelchair. We stayed two nights in April 2022. Breakfast is only served from 9 to 10 am, and dinner from 11 am to 5 pm. After 5, you have to go out to eat by taxi if you don’t have a car.

We were comfortable from the first day and had a very good stay. We especially wanted to try the pool, which had a huge slide. The afternoon food was delicious, and the seafood was excellent. The area was busy with tourists from all over. We really didn’t want the holiday to end.

The view is beautiful, and the jacuzzi, pools and waterslide are all must-tries. There are lots of stairs and the elevator is small, so it’s not really suited to people with disabilities. Apart from that, we had a great stay.
