The people are what make this place stand out among all the beautiful resorts out there. My wife and I spent four nights here, and it felt magical. We were looking for somewhere calm and quiet where we could really decompress, and this was just right. From check-in until we got into the car for the airport, the service was perfect. The team at the front desk were so welcoming, and Maryfer looked after us every morning at breakfast. Hector, Irving, Jason, Hugo, and Guillermo were all kind and attentive, and often seemed to know what we needed before we asked. You can tell the resort takes care of its staff, and they put their hearts into making guests feel at peace. A couple of things could be better. I’d have liked more salad choices and a bigger menu at Cello’s, since I struggled to find something I was craving that night. Sunscreen at the pools would also be handy. I’d gladly pay a little extra for it, since the nearest store is a bit of a trek if you’ve forgotten to bring some. We’ll be back, and we’ll bring family and friends. I hope Banyan Tree does everything it can to keep this team, because the people who work here are what make the place special.

The resort and Acapulco are still recovering from the 2023 and 2024 hurricanes, which makes what the people here managed all the more impressive. My wife and I came for our babymoon, and the staff were incredibly kind, gracious, welcoming, and hospitable. The resort was breathtaking and so relaxing. It was exactly what we needed.

Banyan Tree Cabo Marques offers a different, special way to experience Acapulco. The private villas have a private pool, modern architecture, finishes, and amenities, including fully automatic blinds that block 100% of the sun. We highly recommend the villa BBQ. The food and experience were phenomenal as the sun set. The spa and service were excellent too. Speaking as a world traveller, I think the hotel is worth the price.

The views are spectacular, though the service and food could be better. There were mosquitos everywhere, so pack accordingly. If you visit during a holiday or special event, they may close the pool for the whole day, leaving you with limited access to the facilities. They only let you know the night before, not when you book.

We had a wonderful stay in Acapulco. The hotel felt relaxing and elegant, with a lovely mix of local charm and modern comfort, and our room had a stunning view. Both of the hotel’s restaurants were fantastic. They had different menus, delicious food, and excellent service. The staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive from the moment we arrived, and the service was warm and efficient throughout. I was very pleased with the whole experience and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Acapulco. I hope to return someday.
