Hotel Luca

The breakfast on the fifth-floor terrace was a lovely start to the day, with coffee, juice, fruit, and chilaquiles. Housekeeping kept the rooms very clean, and the front desk were helpful. There's also a really nice coffee shop on the ground floor. It's an easy place to explore Roma from, with plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. If you like long walks, you can reach Condessa, the anthropology museum, Polanco, and Centro on foot and see plenty along the way. Our nearby favorites were Madre Cafe, In Mano for a great sandwich, Chico Julio, Tacos del Valle, and Taqueria Alvaro Obregon. The hotel was clean and convenient, and we'll definitely stay again.

After a horrible stay at a nearby "hotel," we came here and were so happy. The rooms could use a small update, but they were okay. Service was excellent, and although our room was right above the restaurant, we slept like babies during our February stay, despite noise concerns in other reviews. The rooftop and breakfast were our favorite parts, especially the delicious seasonal fruit. The location is excellent too, within walking distance of parks, bars, restaurants, and lots of lovely places.

We ended up staying much longer than planned because severe weather in the States kept cancelling flights. The hotel let us keep the same room each time we extended and even gave us a small discount after the second extension. I was so grateful to have a home base while travel plans were uncertain. The breakfast guys were especially kind and attentive. By the end of our long stay, they knew our order, and I'll be thinking about them, the fresh fruit, and chilaquiles for a while. My fiancé and I had a wonderful vacation stay here. The room was large and very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location in the heart of Roma Norte is hard to beat, with great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Across from a small park, it was quiet in our room, with no noise at all. The bed felt a little firm for me, but was comfortable enough.

The terrace breakfast was amazing, and the hotel is in an awesome location. It felt very secure, though the hallways are small. The rooms and furniture are nicely designed, but the paint and details are a little dated. The shower and bathroom are spacious, with low ceilings.
