Capital O Hotel El Mejicano, Acapulco

It smells bad and it's hot in here. They didn't give us towels or a TV remote. This is the worst place ever, don't come here.

The staff were helpful when we needed them, and the air conditioning kept the room cool. The pool felt great, too. It's a dated property, but fine for the price if you don't expect any extras. The location works well if you're staying in caleta or Acapulco tradicional. We only stopped for the night on the way to another city.

Definitely not worth the money. The room smelled when we came in, there was no hot water, and the taps barely had any flow. They only provided soap and two bath towels. The rooms weren't good.

The rooms were dirty, with old blankets covered in stains, and the staff seemed unmotivated. It's a run-down old hotel, and the photos don't look much like the place in reality. If you can, spend a few more pesos and stay elsewhere.
