The food was the same every night and mediocre at best. One night they ran out of meat and served us rice and beans, and the snack bar felt like prison food. Getting through the rest of the stay was a struggle too. We waited in a line about a kilometer long just to get the valet to register the car, then had another long wait to get our room keys. Elevators could take 45 minutes, and they seemed to fit only about five small children. Our room had no fridge, even though we needed one to store breast milk for our baby. Staff said none of the rooms had one, but later we found out my brother-in-law had been given a room with a fridge, and he kindly switched with us. This was by far the worst resort I’ve ever been to. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

It took over four hours just to valet the car and check into the hotel. Take it from me, spend the extra money and stay at Firsta Americana down the road.

My mom and I shared a room with two beds when we were on a tour group in Mexico, and this was one of our stops. We had a perfect view of the beach, and the service was wonderful. They cleaned our room every day.

The buffet was okay, and the rooms are basic, but they do the job of giving you somewhere to sleep. The air conditioning kept us comfortable. Service seemed to depend on the staff’s mood, so I think three stars is fair.
