A colorful old casona converted into a restaurant and bar. The traditional Mexican food was really good, even if the place isn’t fancy.

The terrace is really nice, and the drink prices are reasonable. The place itself is awesome, though the service was just okay. Their so-called snack is only chips and peanuts, and they don’t seem to know what a set meal is.

Now called Cantina Hornedo, it’s an incredible estate that feels like being in San Miguel de Allende. You can use valet parking or park for free. The chef serves very Mexican dishes, and as in traditional cantinas, they come with your drinks. There are several rooms, so it works for going with friends or as a couple. Highly recommended for a really enjoyable time.

I’d been looking forward to visiting, but the place didn’t meet my expectations. Service was very good and the food wasn’t bad, though it came lukewarm. Then it took a long time to get it reheated.
