I contacted the hotel after realizing I'd booked the wrong dates because Google's time selection was confusing. It showed a future slot that turned out to be several weeks later than I wanted, and at first the system said I couldn't cancel without paying the full amount. The hotel handled my explanation exactly as good customer service should: they responded quickly and professionally, understood the situation, and made an exception to cancel without any trouble. I won't be staying this time because the prices for my intended dates are significantly higher. Still, this experience alone would make me consider coming in the future. That's how you earn customers' trust.

The location is ideal, close to everything, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were nice. Breakfast was good and traditional Mexican, but it cost significantly more than Booking advertised. The rooms have central A/C, but the heating didn't work, so it gets cold at night.

Plaza de la Patria is right nearby, which makes the location fantastic. Street noise was plentiful, though expected. Cleanliness in the rooms and public areas was 3/5. The breakfast buffet costs extra and was generally good, 3/5. The business center's furniture and computers are worn and aged, but support there was great, also 3/5. The small gym worked, though it had no dumbbells. Our safe was DOA when we arrived, and we had to request a battery change. Wi-Fi in our part of the hotel, facing Madero, had problems for several days before they were resolved. We'd read reports of possible theft, so we were careful to secure our valuables, but we had absolutely no issues of that kind during our 20 day stay. The room keys also had a small problem holding their charge.

Getting around the city was easy from here, and the rooms were nice and very clean. Service was polite and professional. Two small issues: none of the employees spoke English, and getting the car out of the parking takes a while.
