Hotel Las Trojes

We loved the location and the outdoor area, especially the lovely pool and gardens. It’s worth allowing plenty of time to enjoy the pool. There’s ample free parking on site, and the bell staff and receptionists are very kind. The soap they provide has a lovely smell and feel, and I really appreciated that the hotel is 100% smoke-free. The rooms are basic, with a bed, shower, closet, TV, and desk. There’s no bathtub, but you can get a garden view. The hotel feels like a family resort from the 70s, and it was nice seeing families having fun by the pool. The building is contemporary but old-fashioned in style, with open areas that are small yet pleasant to move around in. It’s a family-run place without franchise standards, so unusual questions or requests can take longer to sort out. Service was good, though. There’s a very nice jacuzzi, but each guest has to reserve a one-hour slot in advance. For more time, you have to pay $200 pesos. I couldn’t get a printed copy of my invoice at checkout. The front desk woman said she’d email it, but I still haven’t received it. They also wouldn’t give me a tax invoice for food bought at the pool because it was the last day of the month. Make sure you pay your pool bar bills in full. Even if they have your room number, they may call you at 11pm and ask you to come to the restaurant to pay. Those charges won’t be added to your room bill.
