For what it costs, I’d give it about 4.8, but the rating system doesn’t allow decimals, so I’m giving it 5. We enjoyed our stay and our time in Aguascalientes, and would definitely come back. The room, shared areas, and included breakfast were good. The billiards and gym areas were comfortable and included in the room price. The elevator was nice, and the parking, gardens, and lobby were okay. It’s pet friendly, though pets should be quiet, clean, well behaved, and not large. There are several things to fix: dirt and some waste under our bed, an old roof, a sticking WC lever, and a main room door that needed maintenance and was hard to close. The shower only had warm or hot water, not cold, and the small pool wasn’t working. The biggest frustration was trying to get information and reserve. I had to call several times, got “call after” responses, and heard contradictory information. I hope Hotel takes care of these issues. If your budget fits this level of accommodation, I’d recommend staying here.

We were left in the hallway for half an hour the first time because our door card didn’t work. After they moved us to another room, we were stuck outside that door for another half hour because it wouldn’t open either. Diana, the receptionist, came across as rude and had no customer service skills. I spoke with the manager, who tried opening the door and then deducted $26 pesos from our payment for leaving us in the hallway for an hour. Lol. No one gave us information or welcomed us nicely. We didn’t even know there was a pool until I read the reviews. It’s not a four-star hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The shower was plugged, so we had a swimming pool in there, just joking. The curtain rod was broken too, leaving no curtains and no privacy. The cherry on top.

The buffet is good, but the same breakfast every day gets old if you stay more than one night. The hotel itself really needs remodeling, or at least a thorough once-over.
